Early in my first graphic design job, I was assigned the task of recreating 4 very large banners that were to be presented long-term on the façade of Carroll Library, which houses The Texas Collection and Keston Center. While the task seemed daunting at first, I was very excited to recreate and modernize these banners. The clients wanted to highlight several significant figures who were important to these two libraries, and I did so with designs inspired by the infamous Shepard Fairey. It was a great experience to create designs so much bigger than your average postcard or flier.
