When creating posters for events, I really love to let my illustrative flag fly. My Macbeth poster is no exception. I was assigned a project to create a book jacket in my package design class, and decided on Macbeth. This project then evolved into the full design of a theatre poster, tickets, and program. Macbeth is my favorite Shakespeare play and I was inspired by the sinister mood of the events that unfold, which I feel is reflected in the color palette, font choice, and illustration style of this project.
